A Reinvented Personal Mobility Experience

The CORLEO stands out with its ability to deliver an immersive and safe riding experience, even on the most rugged terrain. Equipped with four robotic legs, it ensures exceptional stability and maneuverability, allowing users to explore environments that were once inaccessible. This concept reflects Kawasaki’s “Fun to Ride” philosophy, bringing a new dimension to personal mobility. Kawasaki CORLEO: Toward a Sustainable and Autonomous Future

Innovative Technical Features

  • Swing Arm Mechanism:The rear leg unit can move independently from the front, effectively absorbing shocks while in motion. This feature also allows the rider to maintain optimal posture when climbing over obstacles.

  • Control and Ergonomics:CORLEO is steered through the rider’s movements, detected via the footrests and handlebars. The adjustable stirrup length ensures a comfortable posture, enhancing the overall riding experience.

  • Adaptive Foot Pads:Each of the four legs is fitted with laterally split rubber pads, providing excellent absorption of ground irregularities and anti-slip resistance. This design allows CORLEO to adapt to a variety of terrains such as grasslands, rocky paths, and debris fields.

  • Powertrain and Drive System:CORLEO is equipped with a 150cc hydrogen engine that generates electricity. The hydrogen is supplied by a cartridge mounted at the rear, and the electricity powers motor units built into each of the four legs.

  • Navigation System:A dashboard displays essential information such as hydrogen level, route to the summit, and center of gravity position. Additionally, a night projection system marks the path ahead by projecting indicators directly onto the terrain.

Sustainable and Playful Mobility

The development of CORLEO aligns with Kawasaki’s vision for Society 5.0—a future where technological progress addresses social needs while delivering enriching experiences. By incorporating a hydrogen-powered engine, Kawasaki emphasizes its commitment to environmentally friendly mobility solutions without compromising the thrill of riding for which the brand is renowned.

In conclusion, CORLEO represents a major leap forward in all-terrain personal mobility. By skillfully blending robotics, environmental sustainability, and riding pleasure, Kawasaki opens new possibilities for adventure and innovation.
